Through this privacy statement we want to give you clarity about the way in which we handle your personal data within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Act (WBP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

TechForce Innovations B.V. obtains personal data directly from its customers, business relations and other interested parties, for example the data you provide to us via websites, email, telephone or through a business card. In addition, we process personal data generated by our website (see also our cookie policy) or from other sources, such as business social media platforms, the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce, and personal data available on public business websites.

TechForce Innovations B.V. processes these personal data for various purposes:

We process certain personal data in order to be able to win orders (in the run-up to the conclusion of an agreement), to perform services under these agreements, or to be able to comply with a legal obligation.

We also process personal data if we have a legitimate interest to do so and do not thereby disproportionately violate your privacy. For example, we may use your contact details to invite you to events or to evaluate our services.

If personal data are processed on the basis of consent (e.g. for newsletters), this will be requested separately. If you have given permission, you always have the right to later withdraw it.

TechForce Innovations B.V. respects your personal data and ensures that the personal information provided to us or otherwise obtained will be treated strictly confidentially. Personal data refers to all information about a person. Data that indirectly say something about someone are also personal data.

  • Correspondence about persons sent to us as part of our services
  • Information about visits to our website (including IP number and pages viewed), see also our cookie policy.

TechForce Innovations B.V. never processes more personal data than strictly necessary for the performance of our services.

Our website may contain hyperlinks to websites of other parties and social media buttons. We are not responsible for the content of these websites or the services of these social media platforms. Nor is TechForce Innovations B.V. responsible for the privacy policy and the use of cookies on these websites and social media platforms.

 

  1. Retention period of personal data

We will not process your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy statement. If legal requirements apply to retention, personal data shall not be retained for longer than legally required.

 

  1. Protection of personal data

We believe it is important that your personal data are protected against loss or unauthorised access of your personal data. Taking into account the state of the art, we protect personal data with appropriate technical and administrative security measures to minimise the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration. This includes security software such as a virus scanner and firewalls, a secure internet connection, encryption of data and logical, physical and/or administrative access controls to data, servers and (mobile) devices.

 

  1. Provision of personal data to third parties

To process your personal data, we may use services of third parties, who process personal data exclusively on our behalf. We conclude a processing agreement with these processors that meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

For example, we work with service providers that offer SaaS solutions (software as a service) or provide hosting services. There are also ICT service providers who support us in keeping our systems secure and stable.

Lastly, your personal data may be provided to third parties when this is necessary in the context of our services (for example, when applying for or reporting on a subsidy or financing from the government or concluding an agreement with several parties) or because we have to comply with a legal obligation. Personal data may also be provided to third parties in the event of a reorganisation or merger of our business or the sale of (part of) our business. Under no circumstances do we sell your personal data to third parties and we do not make any automated decisions that could have significant consequences for you.

 

  1. Transfer of personal data outside the EEA

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data may only be transferred to parties outside the European Economic Area (EEA) if an appropriate level of protection of the personal data is guaranteed or if a specific derogation applies. In the event that our services relate to activities with organisations outside the EEA (for example, a subsidy provider outside the EEA), your personal data may be processed outside the EEA.

 

  1. Questions about your personal data

You have the right to request us to inspect, correct, limit, delete or transfer your personal data or to withdraw your previous consent. After we have received your request, you will receive further notice from us within 4 weeks after receipt of your request.

In order to ensure that we provide the relevant personal data to the appropriate person further to your request, we may ask you to provide a copy of a valid passport, driving licence or identity card for verification purposes. TechForce Innovations B.V. will only handle requests that relate to your own personal data.

We will be happy to help you find a solution within four weeks of receiving your request. If that turns out not to be possible, you can always contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Developments take their course in a rapid manner and therefore sometimes something can change in the personal information we ask from you and the way we use your personal information. Rules and regulations may also change. TechForce Innovations B.V. may therefore amend this privacy statement. New versions are always published on the website. We therefore invite you to regularly consult this privacy statement so that you remain informed. In the event of major changes, we will also inform you of these via our website.
